When the alarm sounds, every second matters. Dave Ward wants to make sure our fire fighters have everything they need to answer the call.

Dave Ward is proud to stand with the Williamsburg Firefighters Association Local 2020 and the Yes for Williamsburg Ballot Committee in support of Proposition 67 — a critical local investment in the public safety infrastructure our growing community desperately needs.

This isn't a partisan issue. It's a readiness issue.

Williamsburg is growing. New neighborhoods, new businesses, and new families are putting down roots across the region every single day. But while the community has grown, the resources protecting it have not kept pace. Our fire station needs to expand. Apparatus is aging. Staffing isn't keeping up. Equipment needs upgrades. Prop 67 addresses all of it — head on.

Here's what a YES vote on Prop 67 delivers for Williamsburg:

A new fire station to meet the demands of a growing community. Replacement of aging apparatus that fire fighters rely on to do their jobs safely. Critical equipment upgrades that save lives. Support for increased staffing so response times go down and coverage goes up.

The result? Fire fighters who can respond faster, work safer, and save more lives.

"I've sat across the table from the men and women of Local 2020," Ward said. "I've heard firsthand what they need and what they're working with. Prop 67 isn't a wish list — it's the bare minimum we owe the people who run toward danger so the rest of us don't have to."

Dave Ward has earned the endorsement of both IAFF Local 2020 and Local 2424 because they know he means it when he says public safety is a priority. Supporting Prop 67 is the natural extension of that commitment — a chance to put resources behind the rhetoric and give Williamsburg's fire fighters what they need to protect every neighbor, every family, and every business in this community.

The community grows. We must be ready.

Vote YES for Williamsburg on Prop 67. And send Dave Ward to Richmond to make sure the state does its part too.
